The HDJ-1000 headphones have a high power input (3,000mW) for monitoring a high level of sound, and a hermetically sealed body with high sound-insulating ability. The folding housing with universal joints allow you to fold the headphones for space-saving and to turn them in each direction for free-style single ear sound monitoring. Designed with DJs in mind, the housing can rest against the shoulders for stability and comfort. A selector allows you to mix right and left channel signals for single ear sound monitoring.

My g.f. bought me these as a gift, 2 months later they broke at the joints during regular use. Sent in as warranty. 8 months later... same thing. Will go back to stanton 2000 headphones.

The headphones look and sound great but they snap out of the socket. Furthermore after several slips out of the socket, the wire begins to deteriorate and then eventually you'll lose hearing on one side and then the wire snaps. Bye Bye expensive headphones.

along with all other Dj headphones, with this design, they all crack at joints from use, you figure being pioneer they usually think outside the box....not the case.........Best to settle for they sony 700's....the cheapest, but deliver same sound quality as these and the technics
