For years I played on lousy thrones, I guess I just didn't know any better...now you have no excuse, you read this review, don't think twice...click "buy". Just the right amount of "play" in the shock, super comfortable padding, adjustable height, built like a TANK.The only con is it's SO GOOD that my wife keeps grabbing it from my kit and using it as an office chair...it's hard to blame her.

I use this product for playing drums and love it. I used to use the standard throne that came with my Tama swingstar kit and it would keep breaking down and just didn't satisfy me. I realize the expectations for that kind of throne aren't high, but it just royally sucked. I got this Roc 'N Soc fro Christmas several years ago and fell in love with it. It still functions as good today as when I first opened on Christmas day. A great buy!
