Epiphone John Lennon Revolution Casino Hollow Body Electric Guitar (Natural)
We all wanna change the world... just like John Lennon. Back in 1966, John Lennon purchased a 1965 model Epiphone Casino that ultimately became an iconic piece of Beatles history. In 1968, he stripped off its Vintage Sunburst finish to reveal the natural wood underneath. Epiphone carefully examined John Lennon's original Casino guitar (still in Yoko Ono's possession) to construct its "Revolution" John Lennon Casino model.
The original body shape has been reproduced in five-ply maple and birch to mid-1960s Kalamazoo tooling specifications. The set-in one-piece mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard adorned with pearloid parallelogram inlays. A pair of Gibson USA-made P90's supply that classic British Invasion sound, and can really wail at high volumes. Other deluxe appointments include an adjustable bridge with trapeze tailpiece, gold-tone Grover tuners, and nickel hardware. This remarkable piece is finished with a stripped Natural nitro cellulose sealer and is stamped with Lennon's original serial number on the back of the headstock. It includes a deluxe case.
