Built-in reverb and chorus (3 of each) enhance the sonic soundscape and add an additional dimension to your playing experience. All the important controls and functions are within easy reach, all located on the top panel so you can make changes on the fly and never interrupt the magic at hand. The built-in metronome has controls for tempo, time signature, accent and volume. The tuning control allows for easy key transpose (a true godsend), fine-tuning and temperament including Equal, Kirnberger and Werkmeister. This allows you to practice your classical pieces at a new level of realism.

2 built-in, great sounding Dual Cone Speakers powered by two 11 watt power amps with a bass reflex speaker box provide great sound but you can also send your signal out to a PA system or recording front-end in the studio. There are 2 headphone jacks onboard so you and teacher (or visa-versa) can build skills in private until ready to be unleashed on your adoring fans! Also, there are 30 songs in the SP-250’s memory, ready to serenade during dinner or to be utilized as a learning/practice tool. Nice touch!

Included is a damper-style sustain pedal which attaches to the included keyboard stand so the pedal won’t slip. It's really quite ingenious and long overdue. Without the stand, the SP-250 weighs in at only 42lbs so packing it up and bringing it along to your next gig is a painless notion.
