I purchased this guitar stand a few months back and it is great. The fact that it folds up and can fit in a guitar bag is a plus. The stand comes pre-assembled so you can use it immediately. The materials used seem pretty solid, and I haven't had any problems with my guitar slipping or falling off even when accidentally kicked.

For the price point you can't go wrong by purchasing this stand. I am thinking of getting at least one more.

I appreciate this stand for its compactness, its solid weight (padded metal rod structure) and portability. This flat-folding stand slips right into my into my music, briefcase or tote-bag.
Its low profile, width spread and weight keep it and your guitar upright. The padding, encasing the steel rod structure, is velvet soft and keeps the guitar from slipping.
It comes in styles for acoustic (not yet listed on here)and electric guitars. A nice piece of equipment that won't get in the way.
