Dave Smith Instruments Tetra Analog Synthesizer Sound Module
Tetra is the next-generation analog poly synth from Dave Smith, creator of the Prophet, Evolver, and Mopho. Tetra takes the award-winning sound and features of Mopho, multiplies them by four, and packs them in a box less than half an inch larger! Tetra is extremely flexible. It's a four-voice poly synth. It's a four-part, multitimbral module with four separate audio outputs. And it's an expander for the Prophet '08. Add one or two Tetras to a Prophet '08 for twelve or sixteen voices. Or, chain up to four Tetras for increased polyphony. Combo mode allows different programs to be assigned to each voice for mammoth unison patches or polyphonic patches that vary with each note played. Using Combo mode and the Push It button, up to four different 16 x 4 step sequences can be triggered simultaneously without the need for a keyboard. A free, downloadable editor is available for Mac OS and Windows.
