Comments about Vic Firth SJTS Corpsmaster Scott Johnson Vega Tenor Marching Drumsticks:
This is a great product! My drumline uses mainly these and for some parts of our show the Vic Firth MT1A-S, and Vic Firth Dreadlocks. These are perfect for the tenors if you don't like the feel of mallets! You better tape these though because they get really chewed up! Then aren't the greatest for sweeps or scrapes, but if I had to only be able to use one pair of sticks I would go with these! I think the feel of Scott Johnson sticks is one of my favorites so when I got a pair of these I loved them!

Comments about Vic Firth SJTS Corpsmaster Scott Johnson Vega Tenor Marching Drumsticks:
I used the SJTS just to try it out because I had heard so much about it. I bought it, and fell in love with it. It had more tone than a regular mallet, it was light-weight, and easier to get around the drums with, and it projects more at any stick-height. Although, you have to be careful with this stick because it is relatively "beefy" and it is very to do a "shot" on the drums when you really do not mean to. But it had very good rebound to it, so I had very little trouble doing scrapes without hitting rims, and doing cross-overs without hitting rims.
