I had this set and returned it to the company I recieved it from. The neck had a serious bow in it and could not be repaired without worry of further damage. There are better starter sets to choose from, I would only recommend this to someone who has little money and wants a very basic package.

The only complains I have is that the guitar body is plywood and the neck was bowed so bad it could not be fixed, in fear of damage to it. I even had it tuned down to a D. Over all it would be a great beginner bass if the neck was better.

It's not a very good bass. The neck is almost laughably big, and the fret buzz is everywhere. The knobs rattle when you play, and for a bass, this thing goes out of tune pretty fast. It's good for a beginner, however.
