You cannot get a better value than this. Tons of amps and effects (upgradable on their site), output selection to get the best sound for your application, and very good models. The models are infinitely tweakable to get your own tone, and you can program it for different effect, sound, and volume level combinations to escape the "tap dancing" that comes with stomp boxes.

This is a very good pedal. My performance center has a terrible shape and size for live music, and so has banned the use of amps to give the sound techs more control over volume off stage. For a long time I was forced to use a Boss ME-50 without an amp. Obviously you cannot get good distorted tone without an amp, nomatter the pedal you use. Unless your pedal has amp modeling. When I had enough money I bought this pedal, and ran it through a DB into the snake. It COMPLETELY replaces the need for an amp. When we get a bigger building I will simply buy a high-watt stage monitor to power my sound onstage; I won't get an amp because I simply do not need one with this pedal. It's clean and dirty sound quality is amazing, and has many rare or obcenely expencive amp models with very accurate tone. You can get virtually any genre's tone with this pedal, and the tweak pedal is very convinient. The amp controls are plastic, but unless you plan on stepping on them they'll hold up, and the rest of the pedal is very sturdy. Never had any problems. You may have to align the volume pedal when you first get it, but that is not a defect, it is just something that may not be done at the factory. Do it once and you're set. If you get this pedal you'll be introduced into professional stage and studio sound in one little "pedalboard"

I was getting tired of destroying ZOOM pedals and dismantling BOSS pedal and trying to fix them. I'm also tired of spending thousands of dollars on stomp boxes for them to collect dust when I don't need them. Who wants to spend all of that money anyways? This pedal does it for me, I've been through everything and on stage my pedal is in the crossfire for water damage and everything else my band and myself can throw at it. This pedal can take it all and can dish it out too. If you are looking for amazing quality without the price of an entire rack system. Get this... You won't regret it...

Last year, i got this monster [...] The solid black color told me that it is something that i had to be aware of... i plugged my Ibanez RGT42DXFM and my Marshall MG100, and my band started the song, and then... BOOM!!! i can't explain how good it sounded... Nice distortion and overdrive (especially the Tube Screamer model...) Thick and watery chorus and mods, endless delays, and lotta models of wahs if you upgrade thru line6 website. only thing i want to add to this monster is to have smoother channel switching... it's annoying sometimes...

"The PODxt Live is very easy to use! Once you read the definitions for the buttons your set. As for the sound...cleans are clean and distortion is distorted, and the millions of options inbetween. You can spend a long time fine tuning, but also save the patch to quickly retrieve it . Cab emulation is close enough for my taste. Great Choice for an all in one pedal, and great quality."
