Fishman PLT101 Platinum Guitar/Bass Preamp
The Platinum preamp utilizes a four-band equalizer, modeled after Fishman's versatile Prefix Plus onboard preamp. Each band of the Pro-EQ Platinum's EQ section is assigned to just the right frequencies for acoustic equalization. Also borrowed from the Prefix Plus design are feedback fighting phase and notch controls. An innovation for the Pro-EQ Platinum is Fishman's "Smooth" acoustic compression circuit. It subdues the explosive high frequencies when you strum hard or snap the strings. Additionally, the Pro-EQ Platinum has a balanced XLR output. This output will allow you to power the Platinum via phantom power and the ground lift feature will function even with the phantom power applied.
