Yamaha MLAN16e2 mLan Expansion Board
If you own a Motif XS Music Production Synthesizer and are ready to move up to mLAN connectivity, Yamaha Corporation of America, Digital Musical Instruments, has the solution with the mLAN16E2 expansion board.
The mLAN16E2 provides interface hardware and connections required to link the Motif XS to an mLAN network, Yamahas high performance music networking protocol. This connection – via a IEEE 1394 "Firewire" cable – transforms the Motif XS into a 16-channel, 24-bit/96kHz computer audio and MIDI interface, and will also allow the Motif XS to interface with other mLAN products (such as the Yamaha 01X).
The mLAN16E2 includes the mLAN Patchbay application software for convenient audio and MIDI signal routing on both Macintosh and Windows XP-based systems.
