Generally, Epiphone #2 product has been down-graded from a #1 due to a cosmetic flaw that in no way impacts the playability of the instrument. They are stamped on the back of the headstock as a “second”. This inventory is purchased as is and cannot be returned because of the cosmetic flaw but all normal warranty issues are covered.
The Les Paul Standard is the one of the most iconic guitars in the world, and the Les Paul Standard Plus-Top builds on that legacy with the addition of a figured wood top. Epiphone's version of the Gibson masterpiece is no less beautiful, and has the added bonus of a nicer price tag. The mahogany/alder body is encased in a magnificent flame maple top available in a variety of finishes. It has two humbucking pickups, chrome hardware, and those recognizable trapezoidal inlays on its rosewood fingerboard. Case not included.
