Comments about CF Martin LXM Little Martin Acoustic Guitar:
Dollar for dollar, this is a great axe. It may look like a child's toy, but trust me, it's not. The deep, rich tone, superb action on this lil guy make it a real bargain. It's so small that you can take it anywhere. It will fit in the overheads on planes. I just returned from a trip aboard and I took this with me. It's a great travel guitar. I have been playing for decades, and have owned ALL kinds of different guitars. This one is one of the best deals around. If you like solid action, great tone, superb playablility, and don't want to spend huge bucks, then this lil guy will definately fit the bill.

Comments about CF Martin LXM Little Martin Acoustic Guitar:
After a number of very unimpressive experiences with Martins over the past 10 or 15 years I'm pleased to say I've finally found a Martin I like. Looking for a decent travel guitar I tried a bunch of them up to and including the Baby Taylor and was very disappointed. Finally, I asked to try a Little Martin and was provided with one of the sweetest playing and sounding Martins I've played in years! This lil' guitar projects as loud as a OOO and is sweetly balanced with deep clear bass and balanced treble and mids. She frets like a Martin is supposed to and the tuners are top notch. A couple gripes are the gig bag and I've put the wife on notice that Santa should be laying away the hard shell case I found for this great little ax. My other gripe is that the instrument is made in Mexico... but it is a sweet playing and sounding guitar. I am VERY impressed. Fit to finish appears very good, bracing is solid and well placed. I dunno' maybe I just lucked out and got an exception to the normal fare as I've had one other Little Martin and was not very happy with the way it played or sounded. But this one? I'd recommend playing a few of these before buying to make sure you're getting the 'pick of the litter' as it were, but if you're looking for an affordable travel guitar to take on road or business trips, or something to throw in with the tent and bike for the week end, or a first guitar for youngsters or smaller players I have no reservations recommending the Little Martins. I consider myself a picky SOB and I like this bad boy A - LOT! There are less expensive mini guitars out there but a rule of thumb I've found to be true is you get what you pay for. Buy once, buy well and be happy
