Digidesign HD Accel Card for PCIe Pro Tools Systems
Digidesign now introduces HD Accel cards for the new PCIe standard, which includes newer model Apple G5 computers. They require Pro Tools 7.1 or higher.
PCI-based HD Accel cards complement the HD Core foundation of the Pro Tools|HD Accel system. Nearly two times as powerful as HD Process cards and four times as powerful as MIX Farm cards, they serve to supercharge your system and, as a result, substantially accelerate workflow. Sample rate support up to 192 kHz in conjunction with a 192 I/O-equipped system complements increased track and voice counts to give you unprecedented mixing power. Extremely large mixing configurations are supported by the card’s TDM II architecture, eliminating surround mixing obstacles and bringing greater mixer efficiency to your Pro Tools environment than ever before. HD Accel also improves interaction with both Digidesign HDpack and Developer Partner plug-ins, allowing your projects to move as rapidly as you do.
