I change my strings before every show which can get expensive. So I've tried a lot of "cheap" strings before and these are the first ones that sound and play as good as all the $5 & $6 sets. I will continue to use them.

I bought a ten pack during a SAM ASH BLOWOUT on a whim. I didn't expect much...Well, I don't believe I've ever played on an all around better string, than these, in my nearly 40 year playing "life". I've bought them all; played them all. These doggone GR strings hold their "bounce" forever! Well, a l-o-n-g time. Hold tune, nice even response, in playability AND sound. Probably sound better with EMGs, but it serves my Late 80's "Jap" Ft. Worth Charvel (by "Jackson") just FINE!! Best Underrated string out there. No doubt!!
