Sabian CH10 10" Chopper Cymbal
Designed to deliver super-quick, tightly focused and cutting white noise accents and rhythms for drummers and percussionists, the Chopper's sound is dry, agitated, and quite different from anything else produced by SABIAN. The innovative Chopper design is comprised of 3 bronze discs – two cut to propeller-like shapes – that are riveted loosely together. When played, these discs agitate each other and produce the uniquely raw sound that proved so popular on recent SABIAN Vault Tour dates. The SABIAN Chopper is available in 8-, 10- and 12-inch sizes.
Already the choice of Mike Portnoy, Will Calhoun, and Rodney Howard, the Chopper fits comfortably on stands in any drum or percussion set-up, where it can be played for accents and rhythms. A Chopper can also add a distinctly different flavor when used in place of an X-hat, or laid on a snare drum to create a funky techno-type slap.

SABIAN cymbals are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase on all SABIAN series except Hand Hammered, which has a 2 year warranty. If, after inspection by Sabian personnel, it is determined that the cymbal failed under normal use, a replacement cymbal of the same size and series will be provided free of charge.
