Yamaha craftsmen specially designed the guitars in this CG series with slightly thinner sides and back as well as a thinner finish to deliver better sound response from the instrument. They also gave these instruments thinner necks to increase playability. Because it offers a brilliant, clear tone solid Spruce was the choice for the top while Ovangkol is used for the back and sides. A 19-fret Ebony fingerboard rests on a slim profile Nato neck. Gold-tone classical style tuners on a slotted headstock, bound neck and body and a traditional style soundhole rosette complete this guitar. Case not included.
