Grand Piano Action
The CE200 features Kawai's award-winning AWA PROII keyboard action - the same action used the MP8 Professional Stage Piano. Utilizing long wooden keys, this action recreates both the weight and movement of our grand piano actions. Additionally, the bass keys are counterbalanced and the hammers weights are graded.
Exceptional Sound
The key to the CE200's exceptional sound is Kawai's acclaimed Harmonic Imaging technology, capable of recreating the rich, vibrant sound of Kawai's 9-foot EX Concert Piano. Instead of relying simply on multi-samples alone for tone change, Harmonic Imaging uses a proprietary process capable of producing an extremely wide range of dynamics.
Powerful, Easy to use Features
The CE200 is packed with dozens of features. For starters, any two sounds can be played together in a layered or split keyboard. And you can balance the volume of the two sounds with a balance slider found right on the panel.
Virtual Voicing and Brilliance control allow you to tailor the sound to your personal taste. User Touch can tailor the keyboard's "feel" to your unique playing style. Damper Effect, String Resonance, and Half-Damper all add to the instrument's realism. There's also built-in classical Piano Music (with songbook) for your listening and learning pleasure.
Elegant Cabinet
The CE200 has an elegant rosewood finish cabinet with full pedal board and backboard. There's a sliding key cover and a matching padded bench.
Kawai CE200 Home Digital Piano
The manufacturer's warranty covers parts for three years and labor for one year from date of purchase. The warranty excludes damage from misuse, abuse, and contains other exclusions.
