The Traben Array features a new sleek body design that is light and balanced. It has a basswood body and a North American maple neck. The Array features active electronics and a Traben P-J pickup configuration.
BIGGER Bridge, BIGGER Tone! The first thing that you will notice when you look at any Traben bass is the custom bridge. This solid metal bridge is about much more than looks. It is designed to provide substantial additional bridge-to-body contact than a traditional rectangular bridge. The extra mass and contact provides a unique tonal quality. You will hear and feel the extra resonance and sustain.
The Array sports a sinister looking satin black finish that perfectly accents the "tribal flame" bridge design. The custom bridge also allows the strings to be top-mounted or run through the body for added sustain and tension. This bass is packed with features and is perfect for players that are looking for something far beyond ordinary.
Comments about Traben Array 4 String Bass (Satin Black):
"Just got mine today and while it is very impressive looking, there are a couple of things that are disappointing. Sound wise, this thing has tone to spare. I can dial in just about anything I want sound wise. First glich I noticed was a small crack by the neck pocket, and the gap at the neck pocket is a tad to wide for me. The nut is cut rather shallow on the E string, plus they used WAY too much glue for the nut. The bridge is awesome to behold. Sustain for days with it. The satin black finish is ok, I was expecting a richer color, but still cool. Over all, I like this bass alot, fast flat neck, tone for days, but some of the craftmanship is not up to par, a great starter or backup bass though."

Comments about Traben Array 4 String Bass (Satin Black):
I have played alot of different basses and I can tell you from experience that this bass has more bang for the buck than anything I have ever played. The one thing that really stood out to me was the fact that the sustain is phenominal. I would recommend this bass to the guy just starting out or the seasoned vet. It's worth it.
