This bass is great for people starting out. It has a good enough sound and it will last until you are ready to move up a notch. After a long time minor stuff starts to break, but it is all repairable.

Great Starter pack

Its a great bass to start out with ive had it for almost 2 years now and it still suprises me. The amp that comes with the pack is good for practicing but isnt close to being load enough for anykind of gig. The cable died on me not to long after i got it i would say to get a new cable right when u buy the pack. Its a great deal for the money hope you like it as much as i do.

This is a FAHAHANTASTIC bass for the money!! the guitar is awsome and everything exept for the pickups is flawless. The amp is o.k. but unless your never going to get any better you should really buy somthin' better. The stap and strings are total [*] buy new ones as quikly as possible but once all the necesities are covered I would play this bass at a big concert!!!!

Squier P-Bass Package

This was a solid bass and amp for [$]. It was finely crafted, with the fret bars neatly filed down so it won't annoy your hands as you move up and down the fret board. It was durable too, as I dropped it multiple times (strap faliure) and it still played. Its a great beginners bass, but not recommended for a more experienced musician. The wood isn't the highest quality, and it can be heard. The sound just playing the instrument without an amp isn't nearly as deep or round as other guitars.The amp is ok. You can get a nice sound out of it and its light weight, perfect for personal practices. You cannot play gigs with it, so dont even try. The down side to this amp is that you can't turn it up too loud or else it will get fuzzy. I personally cant turn my up a little over half way before it starts to buzz. But I would strongly recommend this product for a beginner of any genre of music.
