"This is the first CD-R I've tried, so I can't compare it to others, but my experience so far has not been great. I have a Korg D1600mkII digital recorder that has a built-in cd burner. [...] When I went to burn, I used the default speed setting, which was 4x. The resulting audio cd was not good. There was minor crackly, scratchy, staticky sounds on each of the songs. When I went to rip the songs to mp3 it got much worse. Raising the speed to 16x fixed the problem, but I would think that the problem should not have happened in the first place. So the good thing is that I don't have to throw out the other 49 cds, but no, I won't be buying them again."
