I tried this pedal out [...]beat my Axis and Trick pedal with a hammer rendering them useless, needless to say I am way impressed! These really held up well for the metal masters tour my band was on. Worth the money and very versatile to say the least!

The DW 7002 Double Pedal is a great pedal for intermediate players. Theres a great amount of adjustability, I havent even figured out all of it yet haha. The spring tension knob is built in a way that it cant slip or come loose; it is fastened pretty well to keep it in memory lock. The slotted stroke adjustment is great but might be even TOO adjustable. It's actually been kinda hard so far to get both beaters the same angle. When you tighten the stroke adjustment screw, it tends to move in the slot a little so you have to hold it in place and tighten. Over all this is a great pedal.

I have been playing drums for about seven years. I started a metal band about two years ago, so I needed the double bass affect. I tried Iron Cobra, Axis, Pacific, and lots of cheap brand pedals. DW has been my favorite company for the past two years. I love these pedals and anything with the DW logo. I would recomend these to anyone who is getting into the drummer world or who has been in this world forever.

Been playing for three months and i am into the metal music, so i need a good double pedal for a good price. The iron cobras are uncomfortable and the axis are expensive. So i tried the dw 9000's and those were amazing. but really expensive so i tried the 7000's and they felt almost the same

I have owned these pedals for about a year a haven't had a problem with them yet but some of my friends have complained they're too sensitive you should give these a glimpse if your in the market for some double bass pedals.
