i love this pedal i have been useing the dw7000 but it had a single chain and loved it so i thought i,d try a double chain drive pedal (dw7000pt) it has a great feel to it also,,,,i also so use the tama iron corbra, i let my daughter,s boyfriend use it and i can,t get it back that should be telling you something,,,,buy the dw7000pt you won,t be sorry.......

I just bought 2 of these for both my kick drums and let me tell yuh it was worth it. The entire mechanism is smooth and loose which makes it easier to keep a constant beat, and the stroke adjustment makes for extremely easy synching with other pedals or just setting it how you want. The only concern (this can be good or bad) is the beater. While being a great beater that locks into place eliminating the need to re-adjust it's heavy so it gets A LOT of momentum and sound which might take some getting used to.

Over all this is a nifty pedal with a lot of fun features like a slot to hold drum keys. I deffinately recommend this to anyone looking for a solid but affordable pedal. Trust me it gets the job done.
