Impressive tone quality combined with solid construction in a compact afoorbale amp. Great for small acoustic gigs and use for bass tracks in a home studio. The speaker is strong and handles low bass notes without distorting. I am a staff reviewer at Sam Ash Music.

This amp pumps out some serious volume, but also sounds great at low volumes. The 10" speaker has the best of both worlds with a aluminum and paper design, giving metallic highs and soothing lows. it's durable too. I am a sam ash associate at Cincinnati.

Comments about Hartke HD50 50-Watt 1x10" Bass Combo Amplifier:

I was very surprised when I first tried this guy out! This is a great, loud, and clear little practice amp! With the aux in and headphone jack you can play quietly, or with the nice aluminum cone, you can really pump some air! Very loud for the size, but not loud enough to play with more than one other person! I love this little amp though!

Comments about Hartke HD50 50-Watt 1x10" Bass Combo Amplifier:

This is a great practice amp, and has enough watts to compete in a most rehearsal situations, depending on the style of music being played. You can use it to play small gigs, or gigs in which the PA will be either micing it, or using its balanced Direct Out.

Bass practice amps that have enough thump are hard to find. Hartke has a killer little amp right here. Whether you are practicing or need something for a small gig, this amp will knock your socks off. All of that Hartke quality in a little 1x10 speaker!

This is an ideal amp for those little gigs.... Perfect for venues on the quiet side. However, don't get me wrong about one thing...this little amp packs a lot of volume for its size. It has an AUX input for an ipod or similar device so you can play along with your own music. Great little amp at a price that anyone can afford.

this is a great product for practicing. You can use it for your bass guitar or for a electronic drum set. it is only 50 watts but it still gives a powerful response. I wouldn't recommend it for large gigs but its perfect for garage bands and in home students it is also good for trio bands.

The bigger brother of the HD25 has a lot of the same features, but with more power! While the 25 has a big deal in a small package, the 50 is a step up in power and speaker size. The bigger speaker allows for a deeper bass, but still being brighter than a 15" or 18" speaker. Portable, with a bright pop, that's what the hydrive will give you at this size.
