The Washburn WSJ124K Vintage Series Aged Southern Jumbo Acoustic Guitar delivers vintage mojo without the vintage price tag. Order yours from Sam Ash Direct today for the guaranteed lowest price.

Washburn employs their own ‘antiquing’ process to give the WSJ124K an appearance and feel of a 100 year old guitar. This vintage styled jumbo starts with a spruce top that has been given an antiqued walnut finish. The back and sides are constructed from Trembesi and possesses a similar aesthetic to rosewood and features a prominent grain and a strong texture, dark-brown in color. Other attractive features include rope purfling, and a rosewood butterfly style bridge.

The mahogany neck is carved into a vintage style hard-V shaped profile. Players will love the way the V shape fills out your fretting hand. Finally, a protective Washburn Hardshell case is included.

Comments about Washburn WSJ124K Vintage Series Aged Southern Jumbo Acoustic Guitar with Hardshell Case:

Really a handsome guitar, and one that sounds wonderful...

I was moving up from my old Yamaha FG, and had a $1000 budget.

I played a Martin DRS-1, a couple of Epis', a Masterbilt (waa-a-a-ay overrated, in my opinion) and a J-200. Didn't like any of them, so I moved up the ladder a bit to a Taylor 320 (or maybe a 322) Mahogany, and a Seagull S6 Deluxe.

When I finally strummed the Washburn, it resonated in my diaphragm, and there was truly no doubt in my mind. I had to have it.

Plus, it came with a really sturdy & plush HARD case, not a cheesy gig bag.

Comments about Washburn WSJ124K Vintage Series Aged Southern Jumbo Acoustic Guitar with Hardshell Case:

Guitar arrived with a strings tuned perfectly to themselves about a few steps low and sounded great. Once tuned to standard pitch, sounded better. Easy to fingerpick, easy to fret and barre, and great to flatpick. Sounds very bright for a dreadnought, and that's not a bad thing. I love the guitar.
