Comments about Washburn B9 5-String Banjo:

I used about 20 of these to teach a summer course at a local school. For a starter this is a great little banjo. Don't expect anything huge from the instrument, but for the price, and if you are learning, this is a great instrument.

Comments about Washburn B9 5-String Banjo:

this banjo, in short, is terrible. i had major fret buzz problems which had to do with a warping neck within 3 months of purchase. the pot is made out of aluminum...the rim rod bent from tension in the same amount of time. the tuners are garbage also. if you want an entry level banjo, buy a gold tone or a deering good time
