Corpsmaster line, Ralph Hardimon design heavy birch laminate drumsticks.
The Vic Firth Corpsmaster line of drum sticks designed with Ralph Hardimon are intended for marching drumming but are widely used in other high-powered styles and as heavy practice sticks as well. These Ralph Hardimon "Hammer" drum sticks are a slightly scaled-down version of the hickory Corpsmaster SRH Ralph Hardimon drum sticks with a unique barrel tip and a long taper but are made of heavy birch laminate (called Sta-Pac) for added weight and sound production. Power, Precision and Strength.

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster SRH2 Ralph Hardimon "Hammer" Drum Sticks:
I purchased the Vic Firth Ralph Hardimon Corpmaster Hammers as a drilling tool for practice on the Moongel pad and conventional gum rubber pad.
The sticks need to be used sparingly at first to avoid finger and hand cramps. I would recommend 10 to 15 minutes every other day to start. I elevated my practice time to 20 minutes after a couple of weeks and have built my rudimentary non-stop drilling to a half hour. I am pretty well spent after a half hour. I have seen noticeable toning in my finger and hand muscles.
The Sta-Pac laminated birch is turned with precision, rendering a superior surface finish that is smooth but not slippery. Vic Firth is truly the leader in the field.
