In a well-equipped studio in Hamburg the sounds of the Steinway grand piano D-274 have been recorded digitally. The sampling of the GEWA Digital Piano is based on the Steinway grand piano. More than 30 different sounds like e-pianos, organs, strings, choirs, basses or synthetic sounds are available for different music styles. Additionally these sounds can be layered, split or played 4 handed and they even include an 8 track sequencer to record your own concerto.

Gewa pianos are equipped with Bluetooth and USB. The Italian made Fatar keyboard has the natural feel of ivory (synthetic) with 3 contact points scaled and calibrated exclusively by GEWA engineers. All these special features make these digital pianos in terms of dynamics with Steinway sound quality and excellent choice. Thanks to the virtual soundboard, even the finest sound nuances can be heard.

SENSITIVE PLAYING EXPERIENCE
Thanks to the use of 3 contact points the “Concert-Pianist”- keyboard‘s resolution is on the level of that of a concert piano and is in no way inferior when it comes to weighting and repeat performance. The clearly defined and precise touch supports the virtuosic play of each player and is perfectly calibrated to the 6-layer samples.

SAMPLING
The Steinway Concert Grand Piano D274 was recorded in a state of the art recording studio in Hamburg, Germany. More than a hundred samples were made. A sample is: the digital reproduction of one tone signal. GEWA Loopless technology is used to reproduce the vibrations of the piano strings and the soundboard. Never before has the sound of a digital piano been so close to the original!

The GEWA pianos are produced in the Vogtland area of Germany, they are crafted with the most up-to-date technology and digital processing units available. This piano contains reproductions of a Steinway D-274 grand piano, recorded in a well-equipped studio in Hamburg. The keys feel like you are playing a real acoustic piano, the hammer action is on point and has tons of digital effects and an 8 track sequencer! Made in Germany, precision engineering! Great piano.

New piano is already a contender for one of the best.

The Gewa piano company is still relatively unknown but that will change soon enough once people start trying out their pianos. These German made pianos have an incredible feel and an even better sound. The simple design and look of this digital piano is misleading in the best way possible. You actually have a lot you can do with this piano, from playing with 20+ sounds to 8 track recording.

Great sounding keyboard. In fact the piano sounds on this digital piano are taken from a Steinway grand piano which gives it a very authentic sound and feel. The 8 track sequencer is another great feature of this piano allowing to create and work on pieces in an easy and hands on way. Great for players at any level

The GEWA digital uprights do not dissapoint

I just spent a few minutes test driving the new GEWA digital electric piano. What a pleasure it was. Of course the gorgeous appearance is the first thing to grab your attention. Anyone would be proud to display this in their home or church. But past that it was truly the feel of the keys that turned my head. The weighted hammer action was spot on, very comfortable and natural feeling. The control panel was very intuitive and easy to use. The GEWA had all the needed tones including pianos, e. piano, organ, ect. Nice options with effects and splitting the tones. With the German engineering you know it's built to last!!!!!!!

This is a great keyboard for those looking for the function and feeling of a real Steinway grand piano without having to dish out the bucks for the real deal. The weighted keys and digitally sampled sounds of this unit are designed to match the comfort and quality of a real Steinway grand piano. So much time and quality has been taken into the sounds that come out of this keyboard. With over 100 samples made in Hamberg Germany to produce the quality as close the original as possible, few come close to the GEWA UP280G Upright Digital Piano.

If you're seeking out an electric piano that has an incredibly realistic feel, then look no further! The Gewa pianos are some of the most accurate feeling keyboard that I've ever played. If you're like me and feel is important to you, consider the Gewa. They look and feel like upright pianos, and are also equipped with built-in speakers, reverb, and plenty of different voices to play with. Easily my favorite piano in the store!!
