The Boulder Creek Riptide US-5NS Standard Mahogany Ukulele features Mahogany tops, backs, and sides for the traditional ukulele look and tonal characteristics. The exclusive "Dual Port System" projects the sound to both the audience and the player. Moving the front sound port away from the center of the soundboard helps to increase volume, tone, and sustain on all Boulder Creek ukuleles. Die cast tuning machines and perfect fret leveling make them stay in tune and play easier than ukes costing much more. Case not included.

Comments about Boulder Creek Riptide US-5NS Mahogany Soprano Ukulele:

On the one I sent back the sound hole is not even in the place shown. I would not really recommend this one but just be aware that they have had problems with it and like I said the sound hole is not in the same place as pictured. If it was the one that said Riptide under the strings I would recommend it in a heart beat. Go down to Sams and play it before buying.

Comments about Boulder Creek Riptide US-5NS Mahogany Soprano Ukulele:

There are two different models, the old and the new, the new model uses cheaper tuners, the head is cut straight across and does not say Riptide under the strings and the sound hole is in a different place. I do not like the new model but for the money it is still a nice little Soprano ukulele and would still recommend it if you want a nice little ukulele. I do not like where the sound hole is located. I ordered one of these but am returning it as it is different than what the picture shows.
