Hartke's lightweight TX600 is a 600-watt Class D bass amplifier that offers the legendary Hartke tube preamp circuitry in a highly portable design. Within a rugged, yet compact enclosure, the TX600 features an onboard compressor and unique tone stack EQ section that provides players of all styles with thorough control over their sound.

Inspired by the countless hours spent by Hartke engineers listening to bass players of all genres, the TX600's tone stack EQ is a preset equalization curve tailored to bass guitar. The Shape and Frequency knobs provide detailed control of the midrange frequency voicing, while the Bass and Treble controls allow for further adjustments to create a tone that is your own.

Featuring the same Class A tube preamp circuitry as Hartke's renowned LH Series linear amplifiers, the TX600 produces a wide range of tone with incredible warmth and punch. The amp's Compressor knob provides control over the bass dynamics to establish a smooth, even sound, while a Brite button adds extra high frequency attack.

Featuring an aluminum chassis and weighing only seven pounds, the TX600 is both rugged and portable. Its custom Class D amplifier provides the tonal characteristics of traditional linear amps, minus the backbreaking weight. With a headphone output and 1/8" (3.5mm) input for playing along to your favorite tracks, the TX600 is ideal for practice/rehearsal settings. An XLR direct output also optimizes the amp for direct recording or larger performance spaces.

This little bass head is great for any venue. At 600 watts it can fill up any room and doesn't even need a cab. It has a direct out to go to any soundboard which is great when you are on a small stage and don't have the room to fit everyones amp. Great tone and sturdy build.

Hartke has come out swinging with this new amplifier. It has a great full range of tones with its built in compressor and EQ allowing you to shift the mid freq, and shape your tone to your hearts desire. With 600 watts of Class D power you can't really go wrong with everything this amp has going for it.

      Great sounding bass head!

The TX600 is a warm, smooth sounding bass amp head from Hartke. The controls are easy to dial in and versatile, allowing for a ton of tonal variety. It's also lightweight and compact which makes it easy to travel with. The frequency and shape controls are a cool feature which let you choose from a plethora of tones, and the EQ is dynamic and easy to maneuver through. I'd recommend this for any bass player out there.

      Great bass head!

Hartke amps have always been great amps, and even as they are now made by Samson, they still retain that quality that Mr. Hartke himself was so adamant about! This amp is light weight and includeds a class d amp and a tube pre (YES) which helps shape its tone along with the very nice EQ stack. At 600 watts, you really cannot lose with this one. If my Ampeg ever croaks, then this will probably be something I replace it with ( or I may get it to replace my 2nd). It also has an XLR out which is great for both recording or running straight into the live mixer at your next gig!

The Hartke TX600 bass head is extremely versatile. The tone shaping allows for any bass tone to be realized. The built in compressor smooths everything out while the brite button adds a little more punch. There's a headphone out with an aux in for playing along to your favorite tracks. There's also an xlr out for recording or live performance.

Hartke has joined the ranks of other bass amp manufacturers in offering a powerful and lightweight head. This amp boasts the classic Hartke tone in a more portable package. The EQ knobs behave a bit differently on this amp than most others in that if you want your unaffected signal, the knobs should be at the "0" mark rather than 12 o'clock position. Dialing the EQ in can achieve a wide variety of tonal options. This amp works well for both live use as well as practice due to the addition of an aux in and headphone input. The built in handle is sturdy and makes travel a breeze. It includes a mute switch to easily switch between instruments. At 600 watts of power with multiple useful features, this amp is an excellent value.
