Comments about Stageline Gs551e Electric Guitar Stand:

Bought it to hold my Fender Precision Bass. Looks quite nice for its price. It is plenty stable for my use in my living room, though for studio use or an area where your guitar may get bumped often you might want to get something that will hold it more securely (e.g. wider footprint, mechanism to hold the guitar at the neck).

Only down side I can find is that throat of the stand is a bit more narrow than it really should be. It fits the thin profile of a P-Bass just fine, but when I put my Les Paul in it, it was actually too narrow and would lift off the floor when I picked up the guitar. If they added another 1/2 to 3/4" of throat width to the stand it would be much better.
