The new Squier Mikey Way Mustang Bass Guitar recreates a classic Fender bass design with some artist-approved modifications to create a truly unique bass. Order yours from Sam Ash Direct today for the guaranteed lowest price.

Mikey Way has been holding down the bottom end for the Platinum-selling band My Chemical Romance since their inception in 2001. Squier has recreated his #1 stage bass and made it available to you at an extremely affordable price. The Mikey Way Mustang Bass is perfect for players of all kinds who appreciate the comfort of a short-scale instrument.

The Squier Mikey Way Mustang Bass borrows its look from the legendary short-scale bass that was first introduced in 1966 to create a truly unique instrument. This bass features the famous Mustang style, outfitted with a single massive sounding Fender-designed humbucking pickup in the middle position. The tone circuit features master volume and master tone controls.  You will be able to shape your tone to fit any style of playing. Guitarists who double on bass will love the ease and playability of the short scale, 19-fret maple neck that is capped off with a 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard. The Squier Mikey Way Mustang Bass comes in a Large Flake Silver Sparkle finish with a black “racing stripe’ and a 3-ply black pickguard. Case not included.

Comments about Squier Mikey Way Mustang Bass Guitar:

Squier quality has come a long way. Compared to Fender branded stuff, there's just not much difference for the money. Their Jaguar variations are quite impressive. I'm primarily a guitar player but been bassist in a couple of bands. I've had several basses including Spector and Fender. For me, it's all about the feel - the ease of play and comfort through a long night. Tone's not an issue for me. If it sounds like a bass, it's fine and this Mustang does the job well. I'm quite happy with it. Just keep in mind that finding a good case at a good price will be a challenge.
