Comments about Spector Performer Bass Guitar:

I play in a band that performs 3-4 hours a show without stopping, so it was important to play a bass that was easy on the back and had a good sound. The Spector Performer 4 did all that! I got compliments from band mates and audience members alike. I am very happy with this bass, as it is well made and has a great sound to it! This is now my main bass!

Comments about Spector Performer Bass Guitar:

I played one today at SA - very nice action, good feel. Electronics seemed more than adequate. Feels as though player could really swing on this instrument without getting bored or tired, and also be heard.
One of the volume / tone potentiometers on the one I played seemed a little loose. Might not mean anything. I don't like metal control knobs, but, like pots, these are readily available and inexpensive. "No switch" as I mentioned isn't really a big deal for me.
I had been prejudiced against "anything other than a P Bass" for ... years.
I believe if I was in the market for a new bass, Spector would be on my short list. Important to remember that no two instruments are the same. If you would like to be more certain when picking one out, take an experienced player with you. There's my two cents.
