With the Samson Stage 55 Wireless System you get incredible reception, crystal clear sound in a VHF system priced to bring the freedom of wireless to everyone

With the Stage 55 Wireless System you get incredible reception, crystal clear sound in a VHF system priced to bring the freedom of wireless to everyone. This system offers transmitters for every application, including handheld, headset and lavalier microphone styles. It's perfect for guitars too, just plug in with a Samson GC5 guitar cable.

The SR55 receiver makes true diversity wireless technology available to everyone. This "diversity" design houses two antennas and a receiver circuit in a single chassis. The advanced circuit design continuously scans RF signals from the two antennas and determines which one has the clearest and strongest reception, automatically (and silently) switching that signal to the receiver. The SR55 features variable squelch, six-segment LED RF level and audio level metering, dual front mounted antennas and XLR and 1/4" outputs.

The ST5 beltpack features 1/8" mini-jack input for all Stage Series mic transmitters and will operate flawlessly for 10 hours with one 9-Volt battery. Includes battery level meter.

While our site does not specify wireless products by channel or frequency range, we do stock different ones. If you require a specific channel, please call us at 800-472-6274 and we will help you get the exact wireless product you are looking for.

Comments about Samson Stage 55 VHF True Diversity Wireless System:

On the plus side, the audio quality is excelent. The mic has a very good frequency response and reasonable dynamic range. The RF sensitivity seems to have a very good range. The bad news is, the squelch does nothing and the diversity is useless. At no point (including total loss of signal) does the squelch kick in and mute the audio. The RF diversity will not change antennas until the RF signal goes completely away, then comes back (off, then on).

To be usefull, the squelch needs to mute the audio when the RF signal becomes weak, keeping the loud hiss from blasting out your system. The diversity needs to switch to the best antenna the instant one has a better signal than the other, not wait until the signal goes away completely. The point is to minimize interference and disturbance. This does nothing to improve that condition.

Over all, it is a good mic, but not worth paying for the extra features when they don't add any value.

Comments about Samson Stage 55 VHF True Diversity Wireless System:

This is a stage 1 review, I haven't used the mic yet. This website advertised in the "what comes with it" that a case was included. I bought the mic today at Rivergate Sam Ash and they honored the website price but, said that no case came with it. So don't expect a case.
