Comments about Fender Rumble 500 500-watt 2x10" Combo Bass Amp:

.Fender has really stepped their game up with this new line of Rumble Amps. The rumble 500 is a super loud, incredibly light weight amp, that is amazing for any strudio or gigging musician, especially those on the go. With 2x10 inch speakers pumping 350 watts internally(8 ohm) or 500 watts with an extension speaker(4 ohm) there is no stage that this amp cant demolish. Most customers I have complain that combo amps are too heavy to carry from gig to gig, fender has somehow figured out a way to make the amp weigh only 36.5 lbs, and not cause any tonal sacrifice. Outside of the 4 band eq the amps voicing features make this one of the most versatile bass amps ever creative, you can cover any genre of music, from motown to death metal. Buying this amp is an absolute no brainer.

Amazing Weight, I think it's the lightest 15" combo out right now!

Very punchy tone, but selectable vintage setting has a great tube growl.

Loud enough for most gigs, or mike/DI for larger venues

Fender's new Rumble line adds a vintage look and feel to an already great sounding bass amp! The Rumble 500 has two 10" speakers, which gives it a deep, low tone, but with clarity. The amp is LIGHT! So easy to carry and maneuver onto stage.

Comments about Fender Rumble 500 500-watt 2x10" Combo Bass Amp:

Whenever I play bass here at our store, I plug in through this. The step up from the last series of rumble amplifiers is actually quite impressive. The tone is way clearer, and the grill they used on these doesn't rumble at all haha and let me tell you something, this amp is SO RIDICULOUSLY LIGHT!!!! I'm NOT joking, it's something you have to come in and feel for yourself. No more lugging around a giant combo and hurting your back. But aside from that:

          500 watts? Plenty.
Overdrive/distortion? The best I've heard at this price point.
Reliable? Just like all Fender products.

          Definitely a good buy!

Comments about Fender Rumble 500 500-watt 2x10" Combo Bass Amp:

I have used it for a couple gigs and must say it get's plenty loud for just about any venue I could play on the local level! The two '10 inch speakers sound nice and tight and make it good for rock with good clarity of individual notes. If you want that warmer bluesy "falling off the rocking chair" bass sound the vintage button works well for that. So far I haven't found any real cons considering the price point. The thing that really sealed the deal for me was how light weight the combo amp is, I have never seen 500 watts come in such a light package. If you're in the market for a combo bass amp this is definitely one to consider!

The Fender Rumble 500 might just easily be one of the most light and portable bass amps on the market right now. While this may be light in weight, it is definitely not light in sound! This amp is guaranteed to blow the speakers off the house for a live performance. I would definitely recommend this amp for bassists who often travel. There is nothing like this at all on the market.

Simply put, I LOVE THIS AMP! Its light as a feather, but fills up a room! A continuation of the Fender legacy of great combo amps!
I am absolutely a huge fan of these amps, the 100, 200 and 500 are all good, but this is the Cadillac of the line! You can play large venues or small clubs, recording is very simple and sounds great!!! I recommend it also because of the weight! IT's so light that years of heavy bass cabs are now behind you! When you buy this amp you will know what I speak of!! Chiropractors will hate this combo amp, but your back will THANK YOU!!!

This is a solidly constructed Fender amp that offers a lot of volume and power. The solid-state construction makes it very durable and still has lots of tone and warmth without compromising power in the bass frequencies. Being made by Fender you can expect a good level of quality and craftsmanship as well. It is light weight for the size and would make a great amp for practicing or playing a small-medium sized venues.
