Yamaha makes great gear

What a cool retro look, but its what Yamaha does with everything it produces, it's playability that is the show stopper here. Yamaha stands for quality and this does not disappoint. Grab one off the wall and never put it back.

Really cool and unique guitar

Yamaha is a household name known for quality products in a myriad of fields. Their musical instruments are no exception to quality and tremendous value. When I first saw the Revstar line I was welcomed by the familiar yet unique design. It definitely reminds me of some older instruments (particularly older Yamaha electrics) but still has it's own thing going on. So how did it sound and play? I feel like Yamaha nailed it. Fit, finish, and setup out of the box are great for the price. I'd likely just setup for my gauge of strings and playing style (which is something I'd do with any guitar)...likening it to buying a car how often are you going to get a new car where everything is set perfectly to you (mirrors, settings, etc). To me the guitar definitely has a vintage mojo and vibe to it in sound and feel but with some modern refinement meaning it's a little easier to play than a lot of vintage instruments and you can coax some other tones out of it. Totally dig the factory blue finish and felt Yamaha really has a good thing going with the Revstar line. Definitely check these out if you want a great playing and sounding guitar that doesn't break the bank that stands out from the crowd with a modern twist on retro.
