Just place the key and "spin"!

The Firefly from Revolution Drum Accessories is a dynamic tuning device that is perhaps the most innovative and efficient drum key ever made. Its primary feature is the use of a cam clutch bearing. This type of bearing allows the user precise ratcheting minus the annoying clicks and play of a standard ratcheting key. It has an internal ratchet that aids more precise and quiet tuning. It features an ergonomic handle for users comfort and is equipped with knurled ends for lighting fast head changes. Also, the handle has a flywheel motion that provides centrifugal force that makes changing heads faster than usual. The Firefly is CNC machined for holding tight tolerances, long life and durability.

Comments about Revolution Drum Firefly Tuning Key:

After having two drum keys break over the past several years I decided I wanted one that was more durable. I happened across the Revolution Firefly while searching the web and I immediately thought, "That's the one I need." And that was before I even knew it had the ratcheting feature. Unlike most other ratcheting drum keys this one is more like a standard drum key in shape and size and it also doesn't have the ratchet "clicking" sound so you can make adjustments quickly and quietly. As far as quality I don't think it could get any better, especially for the price. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a drum key and thanks to SamAsh I didn't have to. Compared to other "non-ratcheting" drum keys the few extra bucks for the Firefly are well worth it. This key is not too heavy and not too light. I think it could even be used as a paper weight for sheet music. The diamond textured ends not only attest to it's quality but add to the functionality of the key by allowing you to easily finger tighten lose rods which is great when replacing drum heads. Get a Firefly and you won't be disappointed! I'd recommend the Revolution Firefly to my friends and even strangers.

Comments about Revolution Drum Firefly Tuning Key:

After having two drum keys break over the course of several years of usage I decided I wanted something more solid and durable than a standard drum key. However, I didn't want to spend $20+ for one. After searching online for a few hours I stumbled across the Revolution Firefly. I immediately thought, "now that key looks like what I need." And that was before I even realized it had the ratcheting feature. This drum key is perfectly weighted; not too light and not too heavy. It could double as a paperweight if you're performing outdoors and need something to keep your sheet music from blowing away. Aside from the extra ratcheting end this key is not much bigger than standard (non-ratcheting) drum keys; (Like the ones I had that broke). The diamond-textured sockets allow for increased functionality especially when tightening lugs that you'd otherwise have to finger tighten. Another bonus with this key versus other ratcheting keys is that is doesn't have the ratchet "clicking" sound so you can easily make adjustments quickly and quietly. Perhaps the best feature of all is the reasonable price. With a little online searching and the added bonus of a coupon code you could easily get this key for under $10 as I did. For good measure I bought two! Considering that the average drum key is typically $5-$8 I feel like I got a great deal on my Firefly and I expect to get several years of use out of it. I can't imagine finding a better drum key!
