Comments about Sony MDR 7502 Stereo Headphones:

I received the Sony MDR-7502 phones as a free gift for purchasing a digital multi-track unit. As they say, you get what you pay for... at least in sound quality.

The phones are nicely constucted, fairly comfortable, and offer decent, clear sound. However, most of the audio range is in the upper register. Bass response is "nasal" and does not give an accurate representation of the audio source, particularly if you are a studio professional. These may be fine for brief reference or engineer talk-back, but are not worth any money you would pay.
