Comments about Echo AudioFire12 Firewire Audio Interface:
The Audiofire 12 is a pretty awesome piece of machinery. It has 12 TRS ins and outs, wordclock, midi, and you can take it up to 192khz/24 bits. What else could you ask for if you already have a mixer with direct outs or busses? It's converters tear the heck out of a delta 1010 and it is crystal clear with a great stereo image. A big plus is that since it is low-latency firewire (you can have only 1 ms latency if you want to), you can plug it into your laptop and record your own gigs or ideas on the go. I have an mx9000 so I can route my 10 busses to the first 10 ins and 2 aux sends to the last 2 ins. Great results because routing is a piece of cake. If you feel like spending about [$] more (look around the web) than a delta 1010, getting much better quality, and need to record whole bands, this is the interface for you.
