Professional audio interface for Mac-based Pro Tools HD and USB workstations with complete expandability Apogee's many configurations, including a preamp module, PCIe and Thunderbolt connectivity, as well as up to 32 Channels of I/O.

Apogee Symphony I/O is a modular multi-channel audio interface featuring premium AD/DA conversion and world-class microphone preamps. It's configurable in the form of ready-made modules to suit your studio's specific needs.  The latest addition to the Symphony I/O module line-up features 16 analog inputs, 16 analog outputs as well as 2 channels of SPDIF. The new design is a break-through in converter design as it is now possible to pack 32 channels of premium Apogee conversion into one Symphony I/O (two module spaces per chassis), a feature not available in any other converter on the market.

16 Analog OUT + 16 Optical IN Module
This module gives you 16 analog outputs along with 16 optical inputs. The analog inputs come in the form of 2 DSUB 25-pin connectors. On the digital side there is 1 RCA SPDIF I/O along with 2 Toslink output connectors that support ADAT, SMUX & SPDIF.

Symphony I/O, the highest end
Symphony I/O builds upon the award-winning design approaches of Apogee’s X-Series and Rosetta Series converters, the Big Ben master clock and the Trak2 mic preamps. It also refines and updates these proven designs with fewer but more advanced components while optimizing their performance with efficient power distribution. These enhancements allow audio to travel through less circuitry, offering lower converter latency, more accurate clocking and even more transparency and clarity in your recordings.

Legendary Sound Quality
Symphony I/O is the culmination of 25 years of Apogee’s award-winning design experience. Using the most advanced components available, Apogee engineers created an extremely efficient circuit and power design resulting in a significant improvement in audio clarity and transparency over any previous Apogee product.

Complete Compatibility
Symphony I/O is simple to set up and easy to use. Connect it to any Apple workstation; MacBook, iMac or Mac Pro via USB, Pro Tools HD or you can connect via Symphony PCI or Thunderbolt with Apogee's Symphony 64/Thunderbridge interface, also available at Sam Ash.
