The WS is a wonderfully versatile guitar. Combining the best qualities of large and small bodied guitars, it is ideally suited for a variety of musical situations. A large, deep chamber gives the WS strong projection and rich bass. The narrow waist and tight upper bout allow for a ringing treble, good balance and clear definition of individual notes. Overall, the WS is impeccably balanced. The shapely curves and light weight make the WS a comfortable guitar to cradle or stand with. The extra deep cutaway encourages playing up the fretboard. Case included.

Comments about Rainsong WS1000 Cutaway Graphite Acoustic Electric Guitar with Hardshell Case:

The neck shape on this model is smaller in depth only (not width) than the N2 neck. The N2 felt fine if you are primarily playing chords, but is a little beefy if you need to move quickly around the neck for fingerstyle. It is very light. The deep body has good bass projection, and the graphite material already naturally accentuates the high frequencies. All around it is an excellent guitar. It is expensive, but well worth it. If you are considering a Rainsong, play a few different models first. You may find that the one that you thought you would like best is not the one that feels and sounds the best after you play them. I like the shallow neck and deep body on this one. Stays in tune even with drop tunings.
