The Tonebone Hot British is distortion at its best! From fat hot-wired Marshall tones to the huge scooped out mid sounds, the Hot British is blistering brute force extraordinaire! Based on high-gain amplifier designs, the Hot British is tailored to extract ultra-rich harmonics and full-on saturated tube settings without the mud or noise that is typical with other pedals. The powerful EQ settings truly allow the player to dial into the type of tones that create everything from chunky rhythms to sizzling lead solos. Best of all, even when pushing the Tonebone Hot British beyond the limits, the natural dynamics and feel of the player still shines through.

Comments about Radial Tonebone Hot British Tube Overdrive Pedal:

The Tonebone provides a wonderful growl to your clean amp. You can make a small Deluxe Reverb into a Marshall 100W with a tap of your toe. It isn't a "tube-like" tone-it is an extra tube gain stage in front of your amp and gives you what a fuzz box will not. Most of all it is controllable-wailing screaming feedback leads at a sound level as low as a whisper.

Comments about Radial Tonebone Hot British Tube Overdrive Pedal:

I use the Hot British through a Epiphone valve junior and a Blues DeVille; guitars are an ESP eclipse and Gibson standard. This is the best sounding distortion I have used so far. Even with the distortion on medium-high, I can hear individual notes in a chord distinctly. For example, when I play the beginning to "Creeping Death" by Metallica, I can hear the individual notes I play on the 5th string even though I'm also pounding on the 6th. The distortion is hot, even when the drive is turned way down. You may want the classic pedal if you want something less hot. Excellent distorted sound, pure tube heaven. I wish I had chosen this pedal first. It is expensive, but I would not have purchased all those other pedals that now sound bad compared to this one. I can't stop playing since I got this, much to the dismay of my family
