With its expressive timbre, the Casio PX-760 offers to all piano purists a selection of sounds which is very close to an acoustic instrument.

Courtesy of of Casio's AIR Sound Source
To reproduce the sound of the finest acoustic grand pianos, the new Privia series features Casio’s proprietary AiR (Acoustic and intelligent Resonator) processor. Accessing more than three times the memory of the previous generation, the AiR processor utilizes grand piano samples recorded at four dynamics sampling to deliver grand piano sounds with long natural decays and remarkable expression. To further the grand piano experience, AiR adds realism by simulating the sound of the open strings when the dampers are raised by the pedal.

Realism, Expression and Touch
The grand piano sounds in Privia digital pianos deliver an unprecedented level of realism and expression. Four dynamic levels of stereo piano samples are integrated with Casio's proprietary Linear Morphing System, for a grand piano sound with seamless transitions and a superior dynamic range. These sounds are triggered by a scaled hammer action keyboard which provides the weight, feel and resistance of a piano without sacrificing the portability of the instrument.

Key Action
The new PX-760 also features a new redesigned 88 note Tri-sensor scaled hammer action keyboard. This new action features new simulated Ebony and Ivory textured keys for an incredible feel and it's three sensors capture the dynamics of a performance with unparalleled speed and accuracy. To further enhance the experience, the action and the sound engine take into consideration the speed at which different sized hammers move inside acoustic grand relative to velocity the keys are pressed, this timing nuance provides the ultimate key to sound experience.

Powerful Features
In additional to grand piano sounds, the PX-760 has many other instrument tones including strings, organs, electric pianos and bass. The PX-760 provides split and layer capability allowing you to play bass in your left hand and have two layered tones in your right. Duet mode splits the keyboard into two equal ranges, allowing student and teacher to use the piano simultaneously. A two track recorder can even record and playback your practice and performances. The matching keyboard cover, stand and pedal board make this a complete digital piano that is a welcome addition to any home dècor.

Concert Play
High-quality audio data recordings of 10 live orchestra performances are installed. Pianists can play along with recordings and enjoy the feeling of participating in a magnificent performance. Musical scores of the concerts are bundled. This focus on pure piano sounds is supported by the integrated triple pedal unit with its damper resonance producing fine sound quality. The new "Concert-Play" function is also integrated into the PX-760 and its perfect piano playing and along with 10 orchestral pieces for piano, piano parts can be practiced and played, with tempos that can be adjusted based upon the players skill and ability.
