The Todd Sucherman Autograph model SD330W is like a 5B but with a modified acorn-shaped tip. This model is made of American rock maple. This model is perfect if you prefer a larger diameter that does not add to the weight of the stick. Maple is great because it does not leave wood chips on the carpet. Todd refers to his model, "As an extension of his arms". The length is 16" long and the diameter is .600" or 15.2mm. Todd's work with STYX is unsurpassed. He has also recorded with Paul McCartney and Brian Wilson. Todd stays busy between tours by doing several clinics worldwide! Not only is Todd an amazing drummer, but he is a complete gentleman! Check out his sticks, you will love them! Pro-Mark has introduced a new navigation system for their drumstick models. The system is based on the "Anatomy of Feel." First and foremost, "feel" is defined by diameter. This particular model falls under the category "Large" and is color coded "Blue" on the package. This model will work well with any other model in the "Large"/ "Blue" family. This model is ideal for rock, pop, and all around general use!

Comments about Hal Leonard Dave Garibaldi:Breaking The Code (DVD):

Since getting to know Todd Sucherman and the musician he is, I discovered his signature sticks very quickly. They are, without a doubt, the best wood-tip sticks on the market. Precisely balanced and the girth of the sticks makes it easy to fit in almost anyone's hands. I still use another brand (nylon tips) for some applications, but for the most part, the Promark SD330's are as near perfect as they come. Highly recommended!!!

At gigs these sticks are good balance, sound good on my cymbals and sound good on my drums.
