Comments about Casio WK-245 76-Key Workstation Keyboard:

I recently picked out a intro keyboard for my little cousin and was very pleased with the Casio stuff. This keyboard here is just great for children learning and small studios. It has 76 keys which makes it much less limiting than other smaller keyboards and the keys don't feel half bad! obviously i'd prefer weighted keys, but that just doesn't exists in this price range. And besides it being good for learning, it's nice for small studios who need to do some quick midi stuff here and there!

Comments about Casio WK-245 76-Key Workstation Keyboard:

This is a great first keyboard. It has all the buttons and sounds that will keep a child interested in playing long enough to really learn something. As a teacher, this is one of the keyboards I'll recommend to parents who aren't sure their child is going to stick with keyboard, and don't want to spend a lot of money on an instrument.

Comments about Casio WK-245 76-Key Workstation Keyboard:

I like this keyboard. It has a very quick power up, almost instantly ready to play. Everything is quick to access so you dont have to dig around in menus. You can quickly dial up a sound or set up a beat or whatever you want to do with it in seconds.
The best thing about it is the amount of control and response in the keys, it does respond to how hard you hit it very well.

Comments about Casio WK-245 76-Key Workstation Keyboard:

The WK-245 is a great keyboard for the price! It has plenty of presets like tones, rhythms, and even songs to play along to. With 76 touch sensitive keys it doesn't take up too much space so it can be used at home for the musician who's beginning to experiment with recording or on stage playing live. Headphone jack and Audio in are great for anyone who wants to play along to their own music and listen at any time day or night. Also, the Virtual Hall simulation feature sounds great! The only thing I would've liked was weighted or even semi weighted keys. I think this keyboard is perfect for any novice to intermediate player who is looking to dabble in MIDI recording, perform with a band, or just for practice at home. I would recommend picking up an On-Stage KSP100 sustain pedal and a set of Samson headphones. This is a real hands-on product review from Anthony at Sam Ash in Huntington, NY.

Comments about Casio WK-245 76-Key Workstation Keyboard:

Casio has always been one to cater to the budget friendly needs, and this is no doubt a good example of that mentality. Its a great sized keyboard and isn't too heavy, the onboard sounds aren't the top tier sound quality you might be looking for, but if you have some nice software already, then hooking this up MIDI will definitely give you some nice functions to work with. This would definitely be a great gift for any musician that has the interest in eventually recording at home. A great and affordable workstation.
