Comments about Casio CTK-4400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

The Casio CTK 4400 is a very good keyboard for the beginning pianist. It is light weight and portable and features tons of different voices, accompanying rhythms, and preset songs. Probably the best selling point on this particular model is that it is very inexpensive (which is a bonus in case you have a slight lull in interest of learning the keyboard).
Some of the downsides to this keyboard is that it has a rather toy-ish feel and sound to it. This is not out of the ordinary for beginning keyboard at this price range, however. I personally am a little more partial to the Yamaha's of the same price range, however the CTK 4400 is still a comparable option.

Comments about Casio CTK-4400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

The Casio CTK-4400 is a great beginner piano keyboard. It doesn't have weighted keys like a real piano, but that's ok for someone young or on a tight budget. Some awesome things about it is that it has a built in metronome which is essential for anyone learning to play. It also has 180 rhythms that you can play along to with 600 different suonds. That's a total of over 100,000 combinations. Along with that, you can select a virtual hall simulation and record with its 6 track recording feature. And if you wanted to play late at night, you can plug in some headphones and enjoy a night of music making.

Comments about Casio CTK-4400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

Comes loaded with dozens of different sounds and songs to play along to. Touch sensitive keys deliver realistic volume depending on how hard the keys are touched. Very light and compact so if your child needs to bring it back and forth to school it isn't a hassle. The on-board speakers sound great with no distortion. Perfect for the beginner and at a fraction of the cost of an acoustic piano.

Comments about Casio CTK-4400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

Let me start by complimenting Casio on the design. Normally I don't care to mention that, but this keyboard is beautiful and looks like a keyboard at three or more times its price.

Perfect for beginners or school students. The keyboard is lightweight and very portable. Plug in a sustain pedal and you've got yourself a great learning keyboard. Loads of onboard sounds in case you decide to get creative and lots of onboard music where you can mute whatever instruments you want to take out, plus you can jam along with the playback as well. Recording and playback functions are fun for creating your own music or to use as a learning tool. Built in metronome is a must for any musician who takes theire playing seriously.
