Comments about Casio CTK-2400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

Sure, this is a beginner keyboard. Yes, it has all the entry level sounds and even has a display to learn songs. True, there are styles of accompaniment for little performances. However, let's not forget a really cool feature: sampling! With the built in mic, the CTK-2400 has a quality sampling algorithm that allows users to really experiment with sampling anything from vocals to Foley. Even if you aren't in the market for entry-level keyboards, the price is right to pick up an experimental sampler. Super cool feature that shouldn't be overlooked!

Comments about Casio CTK-2400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

This is a great, light weight, affordable keyboard. It has tons of sounds, songs and rhythms built in as well as several different teaching tools. All of that make this perfect as a starter piano.

This has been a hands on review by Nathan at Sam Ash Canoga Park.

Comments about Casio CTK-2400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

Great keyboard for young beginners or anyone looking for a great value. Comes with power supply, unlike many others. Although the keys aren't weighted, they have very nice action--they don't feel cheap at all. Would definitely recommend if you're on a budget.

        Incredible for low price

Comments about Casio CTK-2400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

As a music teacher, a keyboard is my best friend, and I personally believe every musician should have one, not just keyboardists/pianists. At the very least, every singer should also have one. This keyboard offers an incredible amount for such a low price, so there's no excuse to not get it and countless reasons to get it, even if keys/piano isn't your primary instrument. The built in rhythms are an asset for any songwriter. The features for beginning students alone make this more than worth it. Sounds great, plays great, and a ton of extras. Definitely recommend.

Comments about Casio CTK-2400 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

I would recommend this keyboard to any beginner at any age. Not only is the price point a 'steal', but the value for what you get is unreal! It's great as a portable keyboard, and it's great for anyone learning the piano for the first time. Tons of sounds, rhythms, and full songs give this keyboard a 5 star rating all across the board.
