Epiphone Les Paul Special II Left Handed Electric Guitar

Epiphone's Les Paul Special II is the most affordable genuine Les Paul model available. It has a laminated alder/maple body and a bolt on mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. It also has two open coil humbucker pickups and chrome hardware for a great sound and look. Players of all levels will appreciate the straightforward electronics configuration of volume, tone and a 3-way switch. Case not included.

Out of the box,it looked good,and had a nice staight neck,the action was too high,and it was out of tune,but after a quick set up,it was a lot of fun to play.

I bought this guitar in the player pack and it's a fantastic guitar. For it's price, it's a solid guitar, and real does try to replicate that Gibson quality t one. The action is good, it stays in tune for quite a while and it's a sturdy guitar. I recommend it for the beginning lefty, it's sure helped me the three months I've been playing!

If you know how to dial in a axe you will be surprised. and a decent amp helps. the pick ups are not very good, not much control of tone, but then again with a good amp thats not much of a problem. sounds good clean or distorted, or with almost any effect pedal. The best for the price.

Great beginner electric guitar. Not much to choose from in the low cost range for lefties. In my opinion, you get more than you pay for here. The cost saving measures are apparent in the electrics, but the guitar has a solid feel, it's kept simple for a beginner, and has pretty good tone. Does not fall out of tune as fast as you'd expect for a cheapy. Little fret buzz on mine but not the worst I've heard. Once you get pretty good you'll be yearning to step up to something better, but this LP Special is good to learn on and should last you a good while.
