I just got this thing about 2 weeks ago and I love it! The effects are excellent. The design is sturdy and looks cool. The only thing wrong with it is that it's a little bit complicated but most multi-effect processors are.

I've had a POD X3 and many Digitech and Boss processors including a RP1000 but never loved the distortion on them. I really wanted a tight, compressed distortion that responded well to palm muting and playing Metal music. This Zoom G9 was the answer!! The distortion on this is sooo much better than Line 6 or even Digitech. Plus the sound cuts through live playing much better than the other units. All the effects sound very good. This G9 isn't as "User Friendly" as the line 6 or Boss stuff but a little extra effort learning it is well worth the much improved sound. No matter what type of music you play, you will be impressed with the sound of the G9. Don't overlook this great effects unit.

I use this for natural sounding guitar in my recordings. You can tell the difference right away compared to an all digital unit. This thing is really loud and it adds a lot of oomph to my sound. The noise reduction is very thorough. The Z pedal adds an extra dimension. All in all, I love it!

just bought the g9.2tt two weeks ago and its great. i have to say that i googled reviews on this processor and half of them were bad and made no scence to me. the few that were good came off to me as logical. so to me those logical responces gave me a better idea who was really reviewable worthy...im here to say if you learn this processor it will be your best friend.it has everything and i love it. i play ska/reggae/punk/metal and latin roots/cumbia all in the same band lol oh and i put this thing through my amps effects return input and its even better than plugging into the main input ; )

its just the best thing around just the way its amps and stompboxs respond and sound its worth its price. and the amazing features...the pedals, the tubes makes this even better whit out the messing the effects. the quality on the effects are just stompbox quality, the problem its it size its BIG but its wont matter once you play whit it. i use it usaly direct to my power amp for me its the best tone you wet from it, and some times thru the effect loop of my amp. recomend this to any one how its looking for great features and quality on the sound this is the best around in a floor multi effect!

This is a pretty great deal at [$] now. Does everything I need and want plus more. Probably has the best pitch shifting effects of any multi pedal.Drives sound great.Tubes give this tone full life over most other pedals. It is serious study time to learn to use it.Alot of options though so you can't knock it, unless you are too dumb to read the FN manual. It works well as a USB interface but still requires a MIDI interface for all features to be used.

Superb modeling and low noise make this a pro unit. The only thing that would make it better would be if it had balanced line outs.

This thing is great. I'm in a band and I've spent several months and many dollars looking for the right sound. I was playing through a Line 6 amp for about 9 months and I just couldn't get the sound I was looking for. Then, about 3 months ago I went ahead and bought a Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410. My sound got better but then I was lacking on the effects that I was able to dial in with the Line 6.

I bought this thing last week and now I've finally found everything I've been looking for. It's really easy to use (of course, I had to read the manual first). The guys that I play with were amazed at how much better my rig sounds.

This thing also sounds remarkably good just through the mixing board that I record with. It's not the same as playing through an amp but it's still really good.

I've bought several pieces of gear over the years and this is the first piece that I've been stoked enough to write a review about.

I can't say enough about this product. Hooked it into the effects loop of Crate Power Block and a 4 x 12 Celestion bottom cabinet with the output level on the top side on the G9 at half way and it's honking loud lol.

The amp modeling is pretty dead on. The 'PV Drive' is one of my favorites. I checked it with a real 5150, the amp that it's based on, and I couldn't tell the difference it's that close. The patches are stomp box quick when you step on them and you can program them to bypass channel A and just go to channel B.

The Z Talk Box is great no more killing your throat and teeth. Works with the Z pedal like a wah, you have to use the 3D side pedal to get the full potential

The headphone option is great for private practice and I've only begun to check out the potential of this processor.
