After not playing drums for a while, my calluses went away and then I started playing hard again and was getting blisters. The gloves do help with that. They prevent blisters, but, the inside of these gloves rub off on your hands. When you take the gloves off after playing, there are black marks that smell a little like rubber on your hands. Need to wash them. Also it hinders with the grip on the stick a little. Stick feels more slippery then usual. Does the job though.
